Dereham Canoe Group and Broadland Paddlesport welcome members of other clubs in the region to join them in their trip through the city of Norwich in the dark, as part of the regional touring series.
You will need to get to the Norwich Frostbite Sailing Club car park off Girlings Lane, Norwich, NR7 0HE with all your winter paddling kit, boat and paddle. You will then need to walk your craft and kit over the railway line, taking GREAT CARE on the crossing (there is no car parking at the club), and enter Broadland Paddlesport on the right, opposite the boatyard. This is a long trip, so I would advise not to use a short boat. Rules of the river mean that you will need to display a white light/glow stick to the front, and a red light/glow stick to the rear. You will need either your British Canoeing membership card or get a Broads licence to carry with you.
